HDM Supervisor

Overview

CJE SeniorLife Supportive Services create a caring environment dedicated to helping older adults stay independent and connected. The Supervisor of Home Delivered Meals oversees the department's daily operations, helps its staff as and when needed, and helps facilitate the Agency's aims through this program to serve seniors and allow their independent living for as long as possible.

Compensation: $60,000

Shift

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Runs reports for route assembly to cross check and modify as needed.
• Assembles meals for following day, including
  
  
  
  • Picking and packing fruits and bread.
  • Picking and packing frozen meals.
  • Picking and packing milk.
  
  
  
  
• Keeps walk-in freezer and cooler organized and clean.
• Restocks freezers with daily HDM kitchen production.
• Tracks and disposes of frozen meals nearing expiration.
• Cleans and sanitizes the HDM kitchen workspace.
• Adjusts daily mechanical/renal meal production counts.
• Answers HDM phone line.
• Makes client deliveries.
• Assists on morning meal line.
• Greets volunteers and helps load their vehicles.
• Receives deliveries.
• On a weekly basis, consults on the Weekly Production Projection meal counts.
• On a weekly basis, orders food and supplies.
• On a weekly basis, conducts the frozen meal inventory.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience in a senior care setting is highly preferred.
• Experience and comfort with spreadsheets.
• Basic accounting and budgeting knowledge.
