Patient Safety Assistant - Contingent Variable Shifts

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED (for Tele-Sitting only):

Ability to communicate effectively with patients using a microphone and headset. Ability to communicate with hospital staff and respond quickly to patient changes. Ability to use discretion and courtesy when working with patients, visitors, and staff. Basic computer operation skills. Efficiency in multitasking. Ability to prioritize simultaneous situations.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Successful completion of BLS Heartsaver during orientation.
