This position's typical schedule is 40 hours per week, which may include evenings and/or weekends.
This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans. The Division Director Financial Services will ensure the Eastern Division credit/financial organization is adequately staffed, and employees understand and are trained in the responsibilities of their positions. This individual will direct the Division credit/financial organization in the management of the account receivable as well as establish strong relationships with the Division's larger customers. Additionally, this position will provide support for inventory management, assist with audit reviews, and NSF check management. This individual will develop the annual budget for the Division credit/financial organization and negotiate contracts. In addition to the above, the Division Director Financial Services will be expected to grow the credit/financial team professionally. The Director will ensure employees' goals align with the overall Division goals, and that performance reviews are executed in a timely manner. This individual is expected to develop and maintain a succession plan for key positions (including their own) in the Division Credit/Financial Organization. This position will also develop and implement training programs for the stores and sales reps to enhance their understanding of the credit/account receivable process to help them grow charge sales.
1. Support the Division in the growth of profitable sales and effective working capital management.

Oversee the receivables for Division and make important bad debt write-off decisions. -
Ensure the Division District Financial Manager (DFM) organization is adequately staffed, and employees understand and are trained in the responsibilities of their position. -
Direct the Division DFM organization in the management of the account receivable. -
Establish strong relationships with the Divisions larger customers. -
Provide reporting to Division Management as it relates to credit and account receivable management. -
Monitor the Division approval rate for new charge accounts to help ensure it is in line with Division goals. -
Work with DFMs to establish healthy relationships with the sales field management teams. Providing financial guidance and reporting on an ad hoc basis. -
Ensure all performance reviews are given in a timely manner and that individual employee goals are set to align with the overall goals of the Division. -
Continually review existing Division processes and procedures to determine if any changes can be made to make them more efficient. -
Develop strong working relationships and credibility with all levels of Division management. -
Help develop, implement and support new programs aimed at increasing sales. -
Monitor the effectiveness of third-party collection agencies. -
Develop and maintain a succession plan for key positions (including their own) in the Division Credit/Financial Organization.
2. Provide support in other areas of working capital management and operations.

Provide support for inventory management as directed by the Division Controller. -
Assist with the Management of Division rebate programs. -
Assist with achievement of overall Division profitability goals -
Assist with audit reviews. -
Develop the annual budget for the Division DFM organization. -
Negotiate contracts (i.e collection/attorney). -
Develop and implement training programs for the stores and sales reps to enhance their understanding of the credit/account receivable process to help them grow charge sales.
3. Support PSG Credit.

Provide regular feedback on the effectiveness of the systems and tools provided to Enterprise Financial Services (EFD) organization to manage the credit/account receivable function and identify potential enhancements. -
Participate in the bi-annual review of the effectiveness of the various credit scores utilized as part of the store new account approval process. -
Support PSG in piloting new programs e.g. central payments, electronic billing etc.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
- Have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
- Proven ability to manage diverse responsibilities.
- Proven ability to identify, develop and implement improvements to existing processes to make them more effective.
- Strong leadership ability and experience of leading, mentoring and developing direct reports is required.
- Proven ability to motivate employees at all levels.
- Experience in making presentations to large groups.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Have an MBA in a business-related field.
- Six Sigma qualifications
- Five plus years of financial experience in a high-level credit management position.
- Field and/or other experience working in Paint Stores Group
- Ability to speak and read Spanish
- Experience working in the PSG group credit department in Cleveland.
- Advanced ability with Excel e.g. ability to create macro's, use pivot tables etc.
