POSITION OVERVIEW: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide vendor support to Maintenance Managers and assist Maintenance Managers in educating vendors on Outside Maintenance Purchase Order process Assist in monitoring and reducing maintenance costs by researching repairs prior to authorizing Help maintain accurate out of service status information and ensure equipment is repaired timely Determine appropriate repair cost with vendors based on industry standard repair times Code all labor to the Outside Maintenance Purchase Orders form utilizing the American Trucking Associations Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standard (VMRS) code keys; Code all parts using internal numbering system Maintain accurate repair estimated amount on outside maintenance purchase order vs. authorized invoice amounts Provide support to Operations/Cross-OpCo on outside repairs where applicable. Identify and resolve Outside Maintenance Purchase Order challenges to include vendor negotiations related to SRT's and repairs to be performed Timely handling of phone calls and/or web-based service platforms, response to vendor requests including repair estimates, processing of invoices for payment and settlement of disputed invoices in a timely manner. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures QUALIFICATIONS
