Move Coordinator - Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Job Overview

The Move Coordinator at JLL is responsible for overseeing move processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining clear move communications, and managing transparent cost reconciliation for all move-related activities. This role contributes to JLL's business objectives by coordinating and executing small and large office moves and changes, serving as the critical link between clients and vendors while ensuring smooth transitions for employees and teams.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Meet with administrators and team managers to discuss and guide them through move logistics
  • Manage new hire onboarding information by contacting appropriate administrators and managers
  • Update move matrices with customer information and technical requirements
  • Assess cubicle conditions, order missing parts, and implement ergonomic changes
  • Review and analyze move lists to identify and address potential issues
  • Evaluate furniture layouts and determine optimal locations for files and storage
  • Distribute moving supplies and instructions to affected employees
  • Act as liaison between teams and move vendors, communicating updates and changes
  • Schedule movers, coordinate with security, and manage badging requirements
  • Coordinate disconnection and reconnection of technology equipment
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency in various information technology tools and platforms
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to coordinate multiple vendors simultaneously
  • Experience with move planning and execution
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions quickly
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree
  • Experience in facilities management or corporate relocation
  • Knowledge of furniture systems and office configurations
  • Experience coordinating technology relocations
  • Understanding of building systems (power/data requirements)
  • Experience with post-move follow-up procedures
  • Knowledge of sustainable practices for furniture recycling/reuse
  • Experience with seat assignment tracking and reporting

Onsite (Based on job requirements for physical presence during moves, vendor coordination, and on-site assessments)

Estimated total compensation for this position:

58,000.00 - 84,900.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
