DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position is responsible for administrative and supervisory work assisting the Children & Youth Administrator and Assistant Administrator and its purpose is to ensure that Blair County CYF programs comply with applicable federal, state, and county laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Your work will involve overseeing agency staff concerning program planning, interpreting overall program objectives, and advising on problems related to the coordination of CYF services. Key responsibilities of this role include mentoring, guiding, and teaching supervisory and casework staff in the skills and techniques of providing protective and supportive services to abused and neglected children; reviewing and analyzing program data to prepare reports, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend changes in operational methods; and performing related administrative duties. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience in public or private social work which included one year in a public welfare program and one year in a supervisory capacity; and a bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
