Description

Duties:

Build partnerships and manage stakeholders at all levels and this position will work closely with stakeholders to plan, manage strategic projects, communicate project status, activities and budget tracking and drive identification and mitigation of risks, along with resolution of issues. Continuously develop and streamline PMO related processes for scalability. Innovate and bring ideas for adding value to our customers, the PMO team members, and the overall organization. Establish and integrate PMO measures, metrics, thresholds, and targets to drive performance in alignment with business strategies. Manage multiple enterprise projects from initiation to successful completion in a fast-paced environment. Manage project scope and completion of deliverables within project timelines. Create and manage project plans in accordance with project life cycle best practices. Manage communication and reporting of project activities across stakeholder groups and tracking tools. Facilitate project meetings with various types and levels of stakeholders. Manage project budget including capital/expense and invoice review/approval. Manage vendors and third-party resources to Statement of Work deliverables and responsibilities. Address project issues by identifying and selecting a course of action by considering the constraints and objectives to enable continued progress. Tailor project management framework and processes to meet needs of project while adhering to management controls. Establish alliances with other departments and organizations to achieve commitment to the project. Identify and manage dependencies with other projects, enhancements, and production support activities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO methodologies, tools and best practice. This position requires 12% domestic travel and 12% international travel.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager or related role where required experience gained.

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree in stated fields and five (5) years of stated experience, employer will accept seven (7) years of stated experience and no degree.

Also requires experience in the following:



  • PMP or Certified ScrumMaster certification or preparation course;
  • Five (5) years of progressive experience in project management and IT software development;
  • Utilizing Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) tools such as CA PPM (Clarity), ServiceNow, JIRA, Microsoft Project Server, DevOps, etc.;
  • Microsoft Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office suite;
  • Collaborative project management tools (MS Teams, Teams Planner, SharePoint, Project Online);
  • Managing large sized projects (multi-million+ budget) from inception to successful implementation;
  • Working with on-site, offshore, and remote team members;
  • Variety of project life cycle methodologies including waterfall, Agile or hybrid;
  • Setting and managing expectations for scope, schedule, budget, risk and quality;
  • Organizing and controlling project governance including outlining the roles and relationships between all groups involved in the project;
  • Facilitating team meetings as well as managing and resolving conflicts to achieve optimal team collaboration and performance;
  • Financial principles including experience with business case justification, total cost of ownership, CAPex/Opex, and return on investment;
  • IT SDLC knowledge;
  • Matrix management experience, team leadership to expedite progress & resolve conflicts, and business systems analysis or business process analysis; and
  • Utilizing project management software tools to provide project plans, portfolio management, and document sharing effectively and efficiently.
