Responsibilities

Join Our Team as the Manager of Compliance and Licensing!

Are you ready to take the lead in ensuring excellence in compliance and licensing? We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manager of Compliance and Licensing to oversee critical aspects of our operations, including care and treatment services, health and safety, regulatory issues, and quality of care. This is your chance to make a significant impact while supporting our mission to provide top-notch services!

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Licensing Maintenance: Oversee licensing in assigned states, ensuring compliance with all governing and licensing agencies.
  • Support Initiatives: Collaborate with the Director of Compliance on vital licensing initiatives in your region.
  • Uphold Standards: Ensure adherence to state regulations, Joint Commission Standards, CLIA, and ethical practices.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong connections with regulatory representatives.
  • Facilitate Visits: Attend and facilitate major licensing, certification, and accreditation visits.
  • Monitor Compliance: Review and investigate significant event and incident reports, ensuring our commitment to quality care.
  • Data Management: Track KPIs and prepare quarterly reports for Executive Directors, showcasing our compliance achievements.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Lead root cause analyses and train Executive Directors on effective processes.
  • Corrective Action Plans: Oversee the preparation and execution of corrective action and service development plans.
  • Integrity Oversight: Maintain the integrity of company systems across clinical, direct care, medical, and psychiatry teams.
  • Conduct Audits: Assist in quarterly clinical records and environment of care audits to ensure top-tier standards.
  • Drive Improvements: Identify areas for improvement in documentation and systems, collaborating with on-site colleagues to enhance procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Investigate and respond to Quality-of-Care concerns, ensuring our services meet the highest standards.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and execute regular training sessions for clinicians and staff on policies and protocols.
  • Data Tracking: Collect data, identify trends, and implement effective tracking methods.
  • Organizational Excellence: Maintain an organized file system for all locations and licensing bodies.
  • Lead a Team: Supervise the Compliance Specialists Team, delegating tasks and conducting regular progress meetings.
  • Talent Acquisition: Participate in the interview process and recommend new hires to strengthen our team.
  • Performance Management: Conduct timely performance evaluations to foster growth and development.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field required.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional certification in compliance, a plus.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in compliance and/or licensing required.
  • Experience working with the governmental regulatory bodies and managing healthcare compliance policies, preferred.
