Job Details

The employee will support the physician in the delivery of health care by performing a variety of clerical and clinical tasks, with more emphasis on the clinical aspect of the office practice. This includes the planning, coordinating and facilitating of patient care activities for patients of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) Adolescent through frail elderly in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

Job Description

Education: The Athletic Trainer will have successfully completed an accredited ATC program, will hold a Bachelor's Degree entry level Master's Degree and will have training and experience commensurate with the expectations of the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics.

Certifications:

  • National Athletic Trainers' Association Certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association required.
