The Epic Principal Trainer will work closely with Epic Analysts, Credentialed Trainers, Bassett Healthcare Network Leadership, IT, and other departments, in all aspects of Epic training. Must be Epic Certified and is responsible for the development and maintenance of application curriculum and training content for classes related to the core Epic system. Responsibility of all aspects of workflow design and training activities in conjunction with project implementations, upgrades, and optimization. This role works as a member of the Health Informatics Team and will assist with workflow process improvement and the communication of project status updates, system design abilities, and other related information to the various departments within the organization. This role is responsible for thoroughly testing all training material in the training environments as part of routine maintenance, leading up to and post Epic Upgrades, credentialing end user trainers, and maintenance of training material and the training environments. This role acts as a liaison between the end user community and the IT department and will be responsible for assisting end users to: understand impacted Epic workflows, achieve targeted best practice outcomes and optimization goals, and help with identified process changes. Between training activities, may focus on the analysis, testing, implementation, and support activities for their designated applications and maintaining a link to assigned end users to ensure the system furthers the enterprise's goal of excellent patient care and supports quality initiatives. Must be flexible to provide on-call support and virtual training sessions. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
