Job Summary

UW Health in northern Illinois seeks a BE/BC Family or Pediatrician to join the over 280 employed providers of the SwedishAmerican Medical Group in Rockford, Illinois.

With over 100 primary care providers, we are committed to helping you develop a practice that aligns with your professional goals and allows you to focus on areas of interest.

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking dedicated and skilled physician to join our pediatrics team.

Your clinical support includes the following:



  • The region's largest and most-preferred medical group and health system
  • Full-service academic hospital support, including the state-of-the-art UW Health Women and Children's Hospital with a variety of pediatric specialty providers.
  • The leader in northern Illinois for annual births, backed by the largest OB group in the area
  • Flexible full- and part-time practice options
  • Academic appointments available with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford to work with medical students and family medicine residents


Education



  • MD or DO - Required


License/Certifications



  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire - Required
  • Active Illinois medical license - Required
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology. Board certification must be obtained within 5 years - Required
  • Bi-annual CPR certification - Preferred
