As an Associate Print, Mail and Scanning Technician with American Family you will mainly be keying and scanning. You will resolve discrepancies and may communicate with individuals outside of their department. Will operate a scanning machine and sort through mail.

We're seeking a detail-oriented, proactive individual excited to contribute to a collaborative team.

This position is a first shift position: hours being either 6:00-2:10pm, 7:00-3:10pm or 8:00-4:10pm Monday through Friday.

In this primarily office-based role, you will be expected to spend at least 100% of your time (5 days per week) working from one of the following office locations(s): Madison, WI 53783

Position Compensation Range:

$25.00 - $31.25

Pay Rate Type:

Hourly

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

* Completes mail activities which include pick up, delivery, sorting, receiving, tracking and machine maintenance.

* Orders and maintain orderly stock of supplies and distribute.

* Performs indexing accountabilities: Verifies quality of images. Checks for completeness and records necessary index values. Input required data to route documents. Notify the appropriate individual of availability of the scanned document. Use multiple internal systems to identify and route documents. Routes several electronically received documents.

*Performs equipment set up, operation, and maintenance for all equipment in designated area.

*Performs daily maintenance on equipment, contact service technicians, and coordinate service for equipment problems. Manually or mechanically make necessary adjustments to correspond with daily work needs.

*Assists with developing/updating standard work for all processes, including operation, safety, and quality control.

*Trains and instruct other employees in the processes and operation of equipment for the area.

*Precise self-tracking of task/process production numbers and related information-Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

* Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service* Demonstrated attention to detail through accuracy and completeness of information.

* Demonstrated experience in an administrative support or customer service role.

* Basic knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in various PC software applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Acrobat, FrontPage).

*Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment

Licenses

* Valid driver's license required plus an acceptable driving record.

Travel Requirements

* Up to 10%.

Physical Requirements

*Adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.

*Repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

*Move about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
