The University of Virginia Darden School of Business seeks a Global Programs Manager who will serve as a member of the global programs team in the Darden Center for Global Initiatives (CGI). The job will have the primary role of ensuring the successful implementation of global programming organized by CGI across the residential Full-Time MBA students, largely focused on Darden Worldwide Courses, Professional Degree (EMBA, Part-Time, MSBA) students, largely focused on Darden Global Residencies, experiential learning via the Global Client Projects, and as-needed support for other CGI initiatives at large. The Center for Global Initiatives sponsors academic programs in more than two dozen countries for Darden MBA students every academic year with over 400 enrollments. This role will provide excellent administrative and programmatic development to the global offerings with CGI leadership oversight and will collaborate closely with the global programs team, faculty leaders, students, and program vendors, to ensure the seamless execution of the assigned programs and initiatives. The Manager will oversee a portfolio of global programs, under the guidance of CGI leadership, to execute each faculty leader's vision for the course. This includes providing recommendations on program structure and development, creating successful program designs, managing all administrative aspects of the implementation of global programs, and managing systems related to travel, student registrations, insurance enrollments, etc., as well as working closely with vendor contacts and other external stakeholders to confirm program logistics, meetings, and details. This role will have a high degree of student contact and will likely have the opportunity to travel to support a Darden Worldwide Course/ Global Residency on the ground each year. This position is located in-person at Darden's Goodwin Family Grounds (GFG) in Charlottesville, Virginia.
