Nisga'a CIOPS provides hands-on experienced services to civilian and DoD programs worldwide. Delivering highly skilled, cleared personnel who provide services on five continents for a portfolio of customers.

Summary:

The Sr. Computer Network Support Specialist will lead the planning, engineering, and support of the organization's systems infrastructure. This role is responsible for the design and implementation of both hardware and software solutions, as well as the continuous monitoring and optimization of system performance. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in network and systems engineering, along with a proactive approach to infrastructure management.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Plan, design, and implement network and systems infrastructure, including hardware and software components.
  • Lead the engineering and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance IT systems.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal uptime and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs for enterprise applications and services.
  • Maintain and update network documentation, including architecture diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and practices to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
  • Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to junior network and systems staff.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and security best practices.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing and switching, firewalls, and system monitoring tools.
  • Experience with hardware and software implementation, including servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
  • Proficiency in system performance analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • IAT Level II Certification
  • Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Must have Top Secret (SCI Eligible)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working in federal or defense environments.
  • Industry standard technical and network certifications.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $94,400.00 to $106,200.00 annually.
