Data Architect (Contract) No Third Party Candidates Required Skills: GCP, Snowflake, Healthcare Domain experience Location: 100% Remote, Eastern Standard Hours Duration: 6-12 month contract Industry: Healthcare Description: Our client provides in-home and virtual medical care to complex, chronic, and elderly patients-helping reduce hospital visits and improve quality of life. Position Summary We are seeking a Data Architect to join our technology team on a contract basis. In this role, you will lead the design and buildout of a modern data platform from the ground up. You'll architect scalable solutions to support healthcare analytics, data integration, and interoperability needs across clinical, operational, and business systems. Key Responsibilities * Architect and implement an enterprise-grade data platform leveraging Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and MuleSoft. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate them into scalable architecture. * Design robust data models, pipelines, and APIs to ensure high availability, security, and performance. * Lead the setup and administration of Snowflake, including data warehouse performance tuning, security, and automation. * Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards (e.g., HIPAA) and best practices. * Enable seamless data integration between internal systems and third-party platforms using MuleSoft. * Provide strategic guidance on data governance, metadata management, and master data management. * Evaluate and implement tools for data quality, lineage, and cataloging. Required Skills & Experience * Proven experience building cloud-native data platforms from the ground up. * Expertise with Snowflake architecture and Snowflake DBA responsibilities (performance tuning, security, automation). * Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, etc.). * Strong understanding of MuleSoft and API-led connectivity. * Healthcare data experience required, including familiarity with EMR/EHR, claims, or population health datasets. * Deep knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL/ELT architecture. * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience in a value-based care or provider organization. * Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS guidelines. * Experience with modern data cataloging, observability, or lineage tools. #techjobs
