Primary responsibilities include: performing routine quality checks, tests and inspections during and/or at end of production process, move/load paper in and out of press, jogging and boxing orders, moving product, assist with plating, wash-ups, keeping supplies available, etc. Can be the 3rd person in a sheet-fed crew, however in some shops may not be assigned to a specific press, but floats within the department. Also includes duties such as: assemble, package, bind or fabricate items to make and/or complete products like: displays, signs, kits, etc. Production is completed by using hands, hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and light power tools and equipment. Cleans and maintains area in accordance with established safety procedures and guidelines. Typically, is directed by a production team lead or senior press or equipment operator and reports to a Production Supervisor. Monday-Friday 5:45 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
