About The Role:

As a Senior Environmental Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our environmental projects, handling everything from client communication and project planning to budgeting and report preparation. You will lead and mentor a team of professional engineers/geologists, providing guidance, advice, and in-house training to support their professional development and growth. You'll also lead efforts to bring in new business, expanding our impact. This position will include a mix of both field and office work associated with environmental evaluations. You'll tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions, inspiring your team and driving our projects to success.



  • Project Review and Management: Serve as an initial reviewer on selected projects as well as independently scope and budget projects and prepare proposal documents
  • Field Operations: Plan and execute field investigations, including drilling, sampling, and data collection. Lead teams during fieldwork to ensure effective environmental evaluations
  • Design and Technical Recommendations: Prepare detailed design recommendations for complex or unusual conditions.
  • Mentor & Engage: Lead and guide staff, foster their development, and actively participate in industry organizations
  • Business Development: Cultivate client relationships and assist in identifying, pursuing, and securing new project opportunities



About You:



  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related technical field
  • You have a minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
  • You have a Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • You have excellent project management skills and team leadership
  • You have excellent business and technical writing skills



What to Expect:

With the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).



  • Outdoor, hands-on work in all weather conditions
  • Traveling out-of-town (typically overnight) for assignments as necessary
  • Working outside of normal business hours when necessary
