Senior Solutions Consultant - Strategic Accounts (Remote)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Consultant to support our strategic accounts and channel sales teams across the U.S. This remote role is part of our pre-sales organization and plays a critical part in technical sales enablement, partner success, and solution evangelism.

The right candidate will bring technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work autonomously while partnering closely with sales, product, and channel organizations. This role requires travel to support partner training, events, conferences, and field activities. Travel is an integral but well-balanced part of the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support technical pre-sales engagements aligned with strategic accounts and partners.
  • Lead technical sales presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts based on customer requirements.
  • Articulate the value proposition and use cases for OpenText Cybersecurity solutions across email compliance, data protection, and data security.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and product management to shape solution strategy and ensure technical alignment.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs and build tailored solution proposals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across multiple product lines.
  • Participate in trade shows, webinars, and field marketing activities.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years in a pre-sales or solutions consulting role, preferably with strategic or enterprise accounts.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity concepts, including:
  • - Email compliance (encryption, threat protection)
  • - Data security (threat detection, DNS protection)
  • - Data protection (endpoint, server, SaaS backup)
  • - Networking (Active Directory, DNS, SMTP, VPNs, firewalls)
  • - Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM)
  • - SaaS solutions and platforms (Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Dynamics, Azure)
  • - Scripting/APIs (PowerShell, REST)
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks: GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
