Environmental Law Professor (Assistant or Associate Professor Tenure-Track)

Georgia State University College of Law invites entry-level and junior lateral (pre-tenure) candidates to apply for a tenure-track position to begin no later than the 2026-27 academic year. The College of Law seeks candidates who research and teach in the area of Environmental Law, with potential interest in related areas (e.g., Land Use Law, Energy Law, and Climate Change Law). Applicants should have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school (or foreign equivalent).

Law Academic with a 10-month appointment. Standard work hours to support the required workload of 33.4% Teaching, 33.3% Research, and 33.3% Service.

Georgia State Law faculty may be required to work non-standard hours, including day, evening, online, blended/hybrid, and weekends, as determined by the Dean.
