Purpose:

The Logistics Coordinator I plays a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely movement of materials and equipment that support our projects and customer commitments. This position supports the end-to-end logistics lifecycle-helping our teams meet global demand while maximizing operational efficiency and upholding our sustainability values.

Responsibilities:



  • Support logistics planning, transportation, and material coordination to ensure seamless delivery of equipment and goods to project sites or end users.
  • Assist in developing and implementing logistics procedures that optimize production and distribution while reducing waste and improving cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor inventory levels and delivery schedules to maintain uninterrupted project support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate the movement of materials through multiple distribution channels in compliance with internal safety and operational standards.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of logistics reports and documentation to track performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support cross-functional teams, including procurement, construction, and engineering, to align logistics activities with overall project schedules and objectives.
  • Collaborate with vendors and carriers to uphold delivery commitments while resolving any logistics issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, materials received, and goods in transit, ensuring visibility and traceability across the supply chain.
  • Apply foundational knowledge of logistics systems, processes, and tools to execute daily operations effectively.
  • Participate in regular reviews with supervisors and team leads to align goals and performance expectations.

What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:



  • Previous experience in logistics coordination or materials management in a project or industrial setting is beneficial.
  • A foundational understanding of logistics principles, including inventory control, shipment tracking, and distribution planning.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of logistics and supply chain systems, with the ability to analyze and act on data to support planning decisions.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills to support alignment across departments and with external partners.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and sustainability practices that reflect Worley's purpose and ambition.
  • A growth-oriented approach with the ability to apply feedback and develop competencies through ongoing training and support.


Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:



  • University degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related discipline.


Preferred:



  • Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
