Purpose:

The Senior Logistics Coordinator enhances product workflow by developing, implementing, and analyzing logistics plans that impact production, distribution, and inventory management. The role is critical to ensuring seamless distribution and delivery by optimizing logistics strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize costs. The coordinator ensures regulatory compliance and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to meet Worley's sustainability and business growth objectives, aligning with the company's vision of delivering sustainable change and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement logistics plans that drive efficiency in production, distribution, and inventory management to support Worley's commitment to sustainability and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Logistics to shape and execute comprehensive logistics strategies that align with project objectives and meet regulatory standards.
  • Provide logistical support for the transportation and movement of all materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while supporting the needs of both Worley and its clients.
  • Lead logistics-related project teams, offering guidance on best practices and ensuring that logistics processes align with Worley's sustainability goals and business objectives.
  • Oversee the tracking and reporting of distribution activities, utilizing data-centric solutions to optimize delivery processes and ensure the effective use of resources.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration between logistics, project management, and other relevant departments to streamline operations and support ongoing business growth initiatives.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, reports, and presentations to management and stakeholders, ensuring that all communications are clear, actionable, and aligned with Worley's broader sustainability goals.

What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:



  • Extensive experience, typically 7+ years, in logistics planning, distribution, and inventory management, with a focus on regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead logistics strategies that enhance operational efficiency while minimizing costs and meeting the regulatory requirements of global projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead logistics-related teams and collaborate across departments to achieve shared objectives.
  • Advanced knowledge of logistics systems, processes, and tools, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to others.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inform, persuade, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, management, and team members.
  • A strategic thinker with a strong commitment to sustainability, aligned with Worley's ambition of deriving a significant portion of revenue from sustainability-focused projects.

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:



  • A University Degree in logistics, supply chain management.


Preferred:



  • A related field, or equivalent relevant experience within the industry.
