Job Title: Systems Test Engineer Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite) Duration: 2+ Months Top 5 Required Skills: Systems Test Engineering - Ability to plan, design, and execute test cases Strong Communication Skills - Clear and accurate information delivery Adaptability - Handle shifting priorities and competing demands Field Testing Capability - Physical requirement to perform outdoor field tests Scripting Knowledge - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) Required Technical Knowledge (Mandatory): Wireless Communication Technologies Computer Science Fundamentals Wireless Networking Concepts Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields (or related disciplines): Engineering Information Systems Computer Science Key Keywords: System Test GNSS GPS Job Responsibilities: Execute and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner Understand and work with basic system features Collect and analyze logs and basic system data to identify errors Collaborate within the team to resolve issues Conduct basic debugging and log analysis Perform field and lab tests as guided by technical leads Communicate issues and feedback to software/systems teams Develop and write functional test cases for new features Participate in troubleshooting with guidance Adapt to changes and meet deadlines Discuss problems and solutions regularly with manager and peers Make simple decisions and escalate when requirements are unclear Contribute to the team by offering alternate approaches when necessary Special Requirement: Candidate must be able to swim laps in indoor pools and open water conditions. (Important for field testing under aquatic scenarios)
