Description

BlueHalo, an AV company, is currently seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design and construction of simulation and training products. In this role and under the direction of a Senior Engineer, you will make equipment and material recommendations and perform basic engineering calculations during the design process. You will also help test prototypes, validating the components or assemblies. Additional responsibilities include drafting technical drawings, bill of materials, and data sheets for the design.

Entry Level Mechanical Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Make equipment and material recommendations
  • Perform basic engineering calculations
  • Help test prototypes and troubleshoot mechanical design issues
  • Validate components and assemblies
  • Produce 3D drawings and other fabrication documents
  • Complete a bill of materials and data sheet once the product design is finalized
  • Configuration Management of product lifecycle design documentation in Arena


Entry Level Mechanical Engineer Requirements and Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of basic engineering principles
  • Up-to-date on industry technology and processes
  • Experience with CAD software, such as SolidWorks and/or MatLab
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
