Compass Oncology, the largest multi-specialty medical oncology practice in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking an IT Support Coordinator to join our team at our Vancouver locations. Employment Type: Full-time; 40 hours Monday-Friday

Location: Vancouver Cancer Clinic

  • Please Note: This position will float between our Vancouver Cancer Clinic and our Vancouver business office

Salary Range: $24.21 - $39.62

**Final offer amounts are determined by a review of the candidate's applicable experience and qualifications, as well as, internal employee equity considerations.

Scope: Provides initial Help Desk Support by troubleshooting and resolving routine computer, printer, & copier help desk requests. Assists in network and end user support by answering calls, documenting incidents and requests for service, setting up user accounts, and assisting user with answering questions. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.


Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Assists in answering calls from end users and troubleshoots and resolves routine computer, printer, & copier requests. Provides basic computer maintenance to achieve optimum PC performance, including check disk, defragmentation, and electronic mail box assistance. Escalates non-routine issues to next level of support.
  • Documents and maintains records of end user issues, network issues, support, vendor communications, and hardware/software orders and shipping.
  • May assist coworkers with computer systems operations including maintenance; hardware purchasing, shipping, and receiving; and hardware/software installation.
  • May set up and delete user Id's and passwords in practice management systems and submits requests to the corporate office for user accounts in file server and email systems.
  • Assists supervisor in the maintenance of network systems, servers and workstations; installation of software and hardware; and troubleshooting of server and network problems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the IT department.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Hands on knowledge of MicroSoft Office Suite applications required.
  • Prior computer networking experience preferred.
  • A+ certification and MCP in Microsoft Office preferred.
