Sony Electronics has a fantastic opportunity for a Brand Marketing and Partnerships Senior Specialist to support Sony's brand marketing team. This position is based out of our San Diego headquarters location and is responsible for supporting consumer-facing brand marketing and brand sponsorships/partnerships. This position will support execution of brand marketing and marketing partnerships, with a heavy focus on sports, but could also include film, music, and other verticals for the Sony Electronics brand. This person also acts as a key interface between the Corporate Marketing, Business units and supporting agencies.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Brand partnerships and sponsorships

  • Manage brand partnerships and multiple sports sponsorships for Sony, focusing on strategy, project management and execution across all marketing touchpoints

  • Execute and fulfill multiple partnership agreements

  • Work with other departments to ensure proper sponsor execution

  • Ticket bank tracking and management

  • Brand media planning, execution and reporting

  • Content creation, management and distribution across all marketing touchpoints to support all sports partnerships

  • Project manage retail marketing projects that support leveraging sports partnerships

  • Project manage global coordination, including communications and asset distributions to other regions worldwide

  • Help manage budget and monthly forecasting

  • Support athlete ambassador programs

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent required

  • Must have 2-4 years of related marketing and brand partnerships experience - sports experience preferred

  • Strong written/verbal communications and presentation skills required

  • Strong project management skills

  • Has ability to multi-task and be detail oriented

  • Is innovative, a self-starter and a problem solver

  • Travel requirements: Role may travel up to 25%

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $76,375to $101,834.The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus plan, which is based on company performance and is not guaranteed, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave.
