Tufts University: Tufts School of Dental Medicine: Department of Prosthodontics Location Boston, MA Open Date Apr 09, 2025 Description Serve as faculty in the Department of Prosthodontics, responsible for the education and training of predoctoral and postdoctoral students by teaching and practicing the clinical techniques of modern restorative dentistry and prosthodontics including implant dentistry on the basis of current evidence in the related sciences. * Preclinical and clinical teaching of predoctoral students with primary objective to make sure that each student achieves maximum skills in (a) Diagnosis (b) Treatment Planning and (c) Execution of Restorative Procedures. * Participate in didactic or preclinical courses * Assist students in performing diagnosis and treatment planning. * Monitor core procedures. * Supervise and grade clinical competency examinations. * Discuss patient care, treatment planning and evaluation of mounted study casts with students. * Make certain that care is provided in a timely manner and consistent with the standards of care for the dental profession. * Observe and report students who need remediation on a timely basis to the Team Leader. * Participate in presenting or evaluating seminars, diagnostic reviews and case reports. * Attend divisional/departmental meetings and meet with Team Leaders on a regular basis. * Provide standard diagnosis and treatment plan commonly found in general Prosthodontic Practice Qualifications Requirements: * DDS/DMD/BDS degree, dental license or eligibility for dental licensure in Massachusetts. * Completion of CODA Accredited advanced education in prosthodontics.
