 SUMMARY Mortenson's Integrated Services Team is looking for a Project Management Controls Engineer who will be responsible for coordinating, assisting, training and seeking to continuously improve the day-to-day function of our project control processes used by Mortenson project teams. Act as a central point of integration specializing in day-to-day processes, technology, and ensure they follow the Mortenson Operations Manual. RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
 
 Investigate and develop enhancement ideas to continuously improve current tools and processesProvide support and training for all processes and tools used by the project team via ad hoc consultations, webinars, written documentation and on-demand video educationAssist with evaluation, prioritization, selection, testing, piloting, and implementation of Lean innovations emerging from project teamsMonitor and evaluate software utilization to optimize efficiency of the tools.Challenge the status quo to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational systems to achieve operational excellence at the project siteRecommend new technology and processes that will improve project team performance and efficiency and/or provide a competitive advantage to operationsTrain new initiatives in the implementation and experimentation stages of developmentLead, mentor, and develop the talents of team membersEffectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsAll other duties as assigned
 
 
 QUALIFICATIONS 
 
 
 Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or equivalent field preferredPreferred 2 years' experience within the construction technology industryExperience executing construction Project Management Control ProcessesExperience in construction industry technology platforms, such as: Procore, Autodesk, and Bluebeam. Ideal candidate must have the ability to understand system administrationOverall understanding of the following construction project management concepts;
 
   
 Project Financial ManagementContract ManagementSubmittal ManagementContract Drawing ManagementProject Documentation ManagementBuilding Information Modeling (BIM)Construction Jobsite Technology Management 
Familiar with Lean principles and techniquesProficient in analysis, prioritization, and implementation of project solution initiativesPositive attitude and professional customer service skillsAbility to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment with a variety of teamsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation experience is a plus

 The base pay range for this role is $71,400 - $107,100. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
