Facilities Maintenance Supervisor Location: Los Angeles, CA 90033 Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually (DOE) Employment Type: Full-Time Company: RW Zant, an Honor Foods Company About the Role: We're seeking a skilled and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations in a cold storage facility. This role requires strong expertise in HVAC and electrical systems, especially CO-based refrigeration, and a passion for keeping things running smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities: Lead and direct the facilities maintenance team to ensure efficient operations. Conduct regular inspections of HVAC and electrical systems, with a focus on CO refrigeration systems. Manage maintenance and repair of cold storage equipment and infrastructure. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime. Monitor energy usage and recommend efficiency improvements. Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized work. Ensure compliance with environmental and refrigerant regulations. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and prepare reports. Train and support team members in best practices and safety protocols. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC, electrical, or facilities certifications preferred. Minimum 5 years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience with a focus on HVAC and electrical systems. Proven experience with refrigeration and cold storage equipment; CO system familiarity is essential. Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance. Excellent troubleshooting abilities and calm under pressure. Effective leadership and communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish required.
