DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises, Inc is looking to fill a Senior Systems Engineer with Aegis experience position in support of the Infrastructure as a Service 9C3 program at Dahlgren, VA.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):

• Attend Tactical Edge Platform as a Service and Release meetings and relay technical and schedule details
• Writing and reviewing requirements at the System/Subsystem Specification level and Software Requirements Specification level.
• Documenting internal interface requirements
• Documenting internal data requirements
• Documenting safety requirements (i.e. do not harm for sandbox)
• Qualification provisions
• Requirements Traceability
• Manipulate, Update, Review, and Revise Model-Based Systems Engineering artifacts

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Understanding cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, networking, security, and automation, as well as strong programming and scripting skills.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, containerization, and database management.
• Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.
• Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) Accredited Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree from ABET recognized engineering curriculum. Examples include: Mechanical Engineering (ME) / Electrical Engineering (EE) / Industrial Engineering (IE) / Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) OR BS Degree in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that includes 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.
• Ten (10) years of General Surface Navy Combat Systems systems engineering experience with five (5) years of specialized experience with Aegis Integrated Combat Systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a normal office working environment.
