LOCATION: Prescott Corps

STATUS: FT Hrly/40 hrs/wk

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College coursework in a related field preferred
  • Previous facilities management and supervision of staff required.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, with ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances
  • Able to maintain a non-judgmental attitude, professional approach and boundaries with clients
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong logistical and project skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office software suite
  • Knowledge of building maintenance & upkeep
  • Must be able to drive all fleet vehicles
  • Must possess a valid AZDL with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass The Salvation Army's fleet safety e-training
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of all building facilities, vehicles and equipment.
  • Report needed repairs to Corps Officer.
  • Ensure that the facilities, property upkeep and vehicles operations are within budget limitations.
  • Responsible for recruitment, training and assignment of staff and volunteers observing all TSA HR policies.
  • Maintain adequate and up to date records on a facility, equipment, vehicles, including scheduled and preventative maintenance
  • Responsible to schedule all maintenance of building, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Complete a preventative maintenance schedule.
  • Responsible for annual performance reviews of staff under your supervision.
  • Responsible for overall safety for employees and safety procedures.
  • Reports all personnel matters and injuries to Corps officer with proper documentation.
  • Responsible for compliance with all PTM policies and procedures.
  • Assist with Christmas kettles and angel tree.
  • Assist in Emergency Disaster Services
  • Perform other duties as assigned as they relate to the position of Facilities/Transportation Coordinator.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
