GENERAL SUMMARY: Collaborative Quality Initiative (CQI) programs are state-wide, quality improvement collaboratives involving facilities and providers who seek to measure and improve the care and outcomes of patients. They are supported by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) as part of the BCBSM Value Partnerships program. Their structures are like several other Collaborative Quality Initiative (CQI) programs sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Every CQI has a Coordinating Center. MSSIC, MIBAC and MI Mind are housed at Henry Ford Hospital, and the other 17 CQI's are housed at the University of Michigan. The CQI QI Lead develops, supports, and evaluates QI Initiatives at all participating facilities (sites). This includes initiatives that are both site-specific and statewide. The CQI QI Lead performs all duties independently and professionally with minimal or no direction and consults with the Program Manager and Directors as appropriate. The Michigan Mental Health Innovation Network for Clinical Design (MI Mind) is a Collaborative Quality initiative (CQI) housed at Henry Ford Health in partnership with the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Value Partnerships Program. MI Mind seeks a Collaborative Quality Initiative QI Lead (s) with a background in mental health and quality improvement who will work with the Clinical Training and MI Mind Leadership team to direct, facilitate, and coordinate the design and implementation of clinical quality initiatives starting with the first initiative, Zero Suicide. The QI lead will lead or co-lead large collaborative teams, guide implementation plans, and act as a consultant or facilitator on regulatory, patient safety, and quality improvement issues for the collaborative. They will also develop patient education on suicide prevention and disseminate Zero Suicide guidelines to all MI Mind participants. The QI Lead will look for sites to present on various topics at collaborative meetings and invite them to do so to benefit the whole collaborative. They will be responsible for QI materials for each state-wide MI Mind meeting, including presentation slides and the delivery of those presentations. They must be comfortable with public speaking/presenting and are responsible for educational materials and presentations each year regarding QI processes and keys to quality improvement success. The QI lead will pilot QI Initiatives, track progress, and support initiatives as directed by MI Mind Leadership. They will provide expertise in the development of Value-Based Reimbursement initiatives and assist in the creation of meaningful and reasonable metrics and goals. The QI Lead will work with leadership to develop each year's Performance Index and Supporting Document detailing QI goals. They will participate in Value Partnerships CQI meetings to stay current on other CQI initiatives and happenings and attend monthly touch point calls/meetings with the Program Manager and BCBSM Project Lead. They will be actively involved in the recruitment and upbringing of new MI Mind sites that meet program inclusion criteria. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
