Overview

Triaplex, Inc. (A wholly owned subsidiary of VTG) is looking for a Radio Frequency Focused Software Engineer with a background in DSP (Digital Signals Processing), C++, and Python to join our team. This position will support a mission-focused customer during the full life-cycle development of a Radio Frequency Processing System.


What will you do?

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
  • Debug existing software and correct defects using C++ and Python.
  • Utilize RF domain knowledge to implement processing stages and algorithms.
  • Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
  • Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
  • Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
  • Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
  • Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software
  • Serve as the technical lead of multiple software development teams
  • Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any particular project
  • Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
  • Generate automate scripts as appropriate to improve workflow and efficiency.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications

  • Active and Current TS/SCI with Poly; Poly Date within the last seven (7) years
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional DSP (Digital Signals Processing) experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. May substitute two (2) years' experience with Masters of Science in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Seven (7) years' experience as a DSP Algorithm developer
  • Seven (7) years' experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development language
