Job Title: Field Technician Location(s): Southfield, MI Responsibilities: Responsible for the proper operation of a large group of Network Elements. Duties in support of interdepartmental objectives, to support the activation of new sites and integration of network hardware and interconnect facilities. Other responsibilities include testing and analyzing network coverage to ensure contiguous communication and network integrity and quality; updating daily logs with site-specific information; composing clear and concise reports for system documentation; and performing activation tasks as required by Local, Regional, Area, Corporate or Regulatory agencies. MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important): Familiar with telecom connectivity designs and able to troubleshoot as required 1-3 years. Computer skills able to use applications to monitor the network and communicate to other teams and vendors. 3-5 years. Building system knowledge understand power and HVAC systems enough to work with vendors to resolve issues 1 3 years. DESIRED SKILLS: Good communication skillsoral and written. Attention to detail.
