Sanitation Technician Job - Industrial Cleaning & Food Safety | Bolton, MA Area

Advantage Technician is hiring a Sanitation Technician in Bolton, MA to support food manufacturing operations of a local company. This role is responsible for cleaning production equipment, maintaining a sanitary work environment, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). 3rd Shift | 3 PM - 11 PM

Pay | $22 per hour + $2.25 per hour shift differential

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production machinery and facility areas to maintain product quality and equipment reliability
• Execute a variety of tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and using industrial cleaning devices and chemical agents
• Operate equipment such as floor scrubbers, foamers, pressure washers, and forklifts as needed
• Follow all Quality and Food Safety Policies, GMPs, and company safety standards
• Accurately complete and submit required sanitation logs and paperwork
• Assist with Quality Assurance tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies (acids, caustics, degreasers, foamers, scrubbers, steam machines, etc.) preferred
• Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures and workflow documentation
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and proper use of personal protective equipment
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety
• Ability to safely handle, mix, and apply industrial chemicals according to label instructions
