Posting Summary |
The National Transit Institute (
NTI) annually offers 275-295 one, two, three, and four-day courses across the country. Course topics pertain to various aspects of administering federally-funded public transportation services. Each course offering is led by a Course Facilitator who presents course materials, leads learning activities, and facilitates group discussions. Course facilitators are also responsible for a limited number of course administrative functions, such as collecting course attendance sheets and evaluation forms to be submitted to
NTI. Course Facilitators are also required to submit brief post-delivery reports to
NTI summarizing the activities of each course offering. |

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
Candidates must have a minimum of seven years of managerial or executive experience in the public transportation industry and a bachelor's degree. |
Certifications/Licenses |

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
This position must possess experience in the public transportation industry. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the operation of public transportation and the delivery of public transportation services to the public. This includes an understanding of the Federal Transit Administration (
FTA) requirements as they apply to public transit agencies. |

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
