POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility for the Summer Snowmaking Technician will be providing service on snowmaking equipment, snowmaking systems, and trail work. The Summer Snowmaking Technicians must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions. This position has the opportunity to continue through the winter season. This role has full-time seasonal and full-time year-round opportunities available. The starting pay rate for this position is $21.56/hour; an increased rate will be based upon experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Pre-season preparation (brush cutting, snow gun & pipeline installation, & snow gun setup)
  • Perform basic services on snow guns, snow hoses hydrants, and valves
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Assist other departments and fill in as needed
  • Follow all company safety policies
  • Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • High school diploma, or equivalent, required

Experience:
  • Previous snowmaking experience, preferred
  • Previous welding experience, helpful
  • Previous equipment operation, preferred
  • Previous ATV operation, helpful


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 18 years of age, or older
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to perform outdoor work for long periods of time
  • Valid driver's license


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
