POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing individuals who are passionate about snow sports and love helping others learn. In this role, instructors will deliver lessons to beginner, intermediate, and advanced guests of all ages in a safe, fun, and professional environment. There are both part-time and full-time seasonal opportunities available. The starting wage for this role is $20.00/hour, increases with certifications.

Required holiday dates: Dec. 27 - 31; Jan 17-18; Feb 14-16; Full time Feb 17-20

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Teach skiing or snowboarding at all ability levels
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Deliver lessons through group, private, and seasonal programs
  • Participate in instructor training and professional development
  • Assist with lesson area setup and junior lift operations
  • Support Junior School operations: registration, lunch, and carpet zones
  • Communicate clearly with guests, guardians, and team members
  • Access daily schedules and other department and company notices electronically
  • Follow all resort policies and safety protocols
  • Work outdoors in winter conditions for 6 plus hours daily
  • Additional duties as assigned


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • High School diploma, or equivalent, or actively pursuing


Experience:
  • High intermediate or advanced skiing/riding skills, required
  • Previous teaching experience, a plus


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Complete a 4-day in-person new hire training clinic hosted by Snowsports School
  • Teaching experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Superior customer service skills


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position requires working weekends and holidays.
