POSITION SUMMARY

The Fitness Center Front Desk Attendants provide excellent customer service to our members and their guests, and are knowledgeable about our facility and the resort. This is a part-time seasonal position, paid at $20.00/hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Greet and direct guests, employees, vendors and other visitors in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Cash handling and register duties
  • Process membership application
  • Retail merchandising and stocking
  • Book massages, tennis lessons and court times, personal training sessions
  • Assist the maintenance team in maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of the facility
  • Follow all safety codes
  • Assist with events as needed
  • Enforce all facility rules and regulations
  • Additional duties as assigned


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • High school diploma, or equivalent, required


Experience:
  • Previous customer service experience, preferred
  • Experience working in a fitness/spa center environment, preferred


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • CPR/AED certification, company will provide if needed
  • Personal Training certification, a plus


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
