The Opportunity

Join a high-impact team driving product growth and innovation at scale! The Express Growth Data Science team is looking for a Senior Growth Data Scientist, who thrives at the intersection of data, product, and strategy to help us unlock growth opportunities and drive user engagement and retention. You will employ data to deeply understand Adobe Express customers through their lifecycle, with special focus on Engagement, Retention and Monetization, drive strategy, measure progress toward goals, be the voice of customer performance through the product and uncover new opportunities. The ideal candidate will have deep technical skills, a passion for delivering compelling customer analytics, curiosity, and a desire to grow technical skills!

What You'll Do
  • Lead high-priority analytics projects that influence product direction and business strategy.
  • Analyze user engagement, retention, and conversion data to surface actionable insights.
  • Own key growth, engagement and retention metrics, identifying behavioral patterns and strategic opportunities.
  • Build predictive and causal models to understand drivers of retention, product usage, and monetization.
  • Develop scalable frameworks for experimentation, measurement, and insight generation.
  • Design and analyze A/B tests to guide product development and optimize user experiences.
  • Design and implement automation and self-serve tools to increase the reach and efficiency of data science.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and enablement teams to ensure robust data instrumentation and measurement.
  • Translate data into narratives that inspire confident decision-making.
  • Mentor junior team members and elevate data culture across the org.
What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles-ideally in tech or product-led organizations.
  • Deep fluency in SQL and proficiency in Python or R.
  • Experience building causal and predictive models and working with large-scale behavioral datasets.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, Tableau / Power BI
  • A strategic mindset with a bias for action and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills-you simplify complexity and drive clarity.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $128,600 -- $234,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
