DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for assessing the available evidence, examining the legal dimensions of the case, and considering any unique circumstances that may apply. Your duties will include the maintenance, generation, and review of compliance records to ensure adherence to legal standards. You will also serve as a liaison with Department Attorneys, which involves drafting criminal actions, settlements, and orders for legal counsel's approval. Additionally, you will consult with attorneys regarding specific legal issues related to cases and keep them informed about any developments in the cases assigned to them. After conducting a comprehensive evaluation, you will determine the most suitable course of action to achieve compliance and recommend appropriate penalties as necessary. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Norristown.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience as a Sanitarian, Air Quality Specialist, Solid Waste Specialist, or Water Quality Specialist; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which affords the applicant the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires the possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
