Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite is Highly Preferred but open to Remote)

Working Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Possible overtime, when needed to meet project timelines

Job Description:
- Duties
- Responsible for analysis, design, programming, and implementation of complex applications tasks and projects.
- Devise feasible, logical procedures to resolve business problems through the use of computer resources.
- Formulate scope and objectives through research to develop or modify complex systems.
- Review detailed specifications and recommend modifications. Design, code, test and debug complex application programs.
- 20% Produce deliverables related to the assigned project. Perform analysis, design, programming, and implementation of systems and procedures to solve complex business or scientific problems. Evaluate interrelationships in immediate programming area to determine how changes in one program will affect another related area. Apply conversions and enhancements to business systems. May lead or provide expertise on assigned projects.
- 20% Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. Ensure solutions are aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Assist in post-implementation support and system enhancements.
- 20% Test modified programs, create necessary test files and data, verify logic, debug, and write relevant documentation.
- 15% Design and develop IT systems. Devise new sources of data and develop new approaches and techniques. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting complex application software that is delivered on time and within budget.
- 15% Provide guidance to lower-level programmers/analysts. Act as an internal consultant by providing technical guidance on complex projects. Determine and resolve problems with other systems analysts, programmers, and systems users.
- 10% Test designed programs, verify logic, perform any necessary "debugging," and write the documentation.?
- Day to Day
- A typical day for Cloud Developer IV, involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud-native applications that align with enterprise architecture standards.
- The developer spends much of their time writing and updating code in languages like Python or Node.js, deploying serverless functions using AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
- Use Terraform to define infrastructure as code, ensuring consistent and secure deployment of cloud resources. Integration work is common, connecting services such as API Gateway, S3, or Cosmos DB to support application functionality.
- Builds and maintains CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps to automate testing and deployments.
- Containerize applications using Docker and occasionally deploy them to Kubernetes clusters for more complex workloads.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting are part of the daily routine, using tools like CloudWatch or Datadog to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical documentation, and provide guidance on cloud best practices.
Team Name: CBIC Cloud Migration
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree-in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree.
Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
Minimum Required Work Experience: 6 years-of application development, systems testing or other job related experience

Requirements:
- Required Technologies:
- Experience with DevSecOps in the Cloud.
- Experience with Full Stack Java implementation, implementing CI/CD pipelines and monitoring.
- Cloud Platform Expertise (AWS or Azure), Deep hands-on experience with services like AWS Services, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, or Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, etc.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC), proficiency with tools like Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure
- Agile Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Nice To Have
- Monitoring & Observability Tools, Exposure to tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor for application performance monitoring and alerting.
- Cloud certifications.
