Principal Product Test Technician - Weekend Shift Location: Lansdale, PA | Shift: Friday-Monday, 1st Shift | Differential: 15% Weekend Premium

In this pivotal role, you'll be the final gatekeeper of quality, ensuring our mission-critical components perform flawlessly under pressure. From rugged RF assemblies to microelectronic systems, your expertise will help safeguard lives and national security.

As a Weekend Shift Production Test Technician, you'll lead hands-on testing of advanced aerospace and defense products under diverse environmental and electrical conditions. You'll troubleshoot, analyze, and validate performance to meet DoD and customer specifications, while collaborating with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement and root-cause resolution. This is a hands-on role that demands precision, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

What You'll Own and Elevate
  • Engineer the test blueprint. Transform technical drawings, schematics, and standard work into precise, high-stakes test specifications that push our products to the limit.

  • Be the voice of performance. Help craft technical reports that don't just summarize results-they drive solutions, uncover root causes, and shape future designs.

  • Keep our tools mission-ready. Calibrate, optimize, and maintain cutting-edge test equipment to ensure every measurement is sharp, accurate, and trusted.

  • Lead with impact. Step up as a team leader within your functional area, guiding fellow technicians and setting the tone for excellence and accountability.

  • Stay certified, stay sharp. Maintain all required certifications to keep pace with evolving standards and ensure compliance in a DoD-critical environment.

  • Champion the workspace. Spot inefficiencies, recommend 6S improvements, and help create a cleaner, safer, smarter production floor.


Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Willing to work weekend shift shift.
  • Minimum 4 years of RF test technician experience in a manufacturing work environment.
  • Ability to setup and operate a Phase Network Analyzer (PNA) or Vector Network Analyzer (VNA).
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Timekeeping system, ERP system, Routing, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented with good manual and eye dexterity (precise).
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred:

  • 6+years of RF test technician experience in a manufacturing work environment.
  • Associates Degree or Technical Degree in Electrical Technology.
  • Military Electronic Schools or Electronic Training from military.
  • Active Security Clearance.
  • Experience in defense or aerospace industry.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace new challenges.
  • Willingness to take on diverse projects and work with different teams.

Salary Range:Production Test Technician IV (Principal): $29.45 hr to $42.73 hr. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
