POSITION SPECIFICS The Education Policy Studies Departmentis seeking to hire an experienced administrative professional as anAcademic Program Coordinator to primarily support its Education and Public Policy (EPP) program and the World Campus graduate program. TheAcademic Program Coordinatorwill ensure smooth operations within the programs by collaborating with and supporting faculty, staff, and students; responding to program inquiries; providing student support service (including with internships), and maintaining records. This position is also vital to the programs by coordinating and planning program-related virtual and in-person events (e.g., orientations, receptions, and workshops). More specific responsibilities of theAcademic Program Coordinatorinclude but are not limited to: Student Support Service:

Another duty of this position will be to develop, update, and maintain program resources, such ashandbooks and website information. TheAcademic Program Coordinatorwill work independently on complex projects and utilizeorganizational skills to complete the responsibilities of this position. After training, theAcademic Program Coordinatorwill also work with various software including Microsoft Office 365, SAP Concur, and Activity Insight (to assist faculty members with collecting, organizing, and displaying data), as well as the following which are specific to Penn State:
Qualifications: Applicants must have excellent communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal, and attention to detail skills. Experience with creating databases or spreadsheets, materials in Canva, and social media content for a business or organization, as well as updating websites is also required. MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School (HS) 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: NoneThe College of Education is supportive of flexible work arrangements when aligned with the ability to meet the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the position.
