Middleware Engineer Charlotte, NC Hybrid (3 Days in 2 Days remote) 12-36 Month Contract Job Description Top Skills * Middleware * IIS * Application support * Windows * Deployment Position Summary Will lead end-to-end and administration duties for critical banking platforms, delivering infrastructure for enterprise projects and regulatory initiatives. Ensures production stability, platform remediation, patching and upgrades, mitigating and managing risk. ProdOps engineering and administration includes middleware installation, configuration, risk mitigation and remediation, performance tuning and trouble-shooting/triage as L3 production support. Collaborates with customers (application teams and/or testing teams) on daily basis providing middleware advice, consultation, and support. Creates, maintains and supports the application deployment templates, serving as a Windows architect and making recommendations on Windows best practices in application development. Designing windows Server infrastructure and topology design for high availability and failover capability. All solutions must meet all Policy, Baseline, and Standards along with business requirements. Providing technical consultation to other team members and their supported areas; Communicating with business partners at an enterprise level; Interfacing with internal customers and external vendors for consultation at various points of the software development life cycle (SDLC); and executing production changes for integrated and regulatory releases with precision. Additional Skills & Qualifications Desired Qualifications * 5 or more years of experience of Windows Middleware Engineering experience * DEVOPS experience * Other products: BMC Remedy, BMC Bladelogic Server Automation. * Understanding of Network infrastructure (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, TLS,DNS, Load-balancers, firewalls, proxies, B2B links) * Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail Ability to troubleshoot complex .NET or Java-based application issues in a multi-tier development environment Builds, configures, installs and validates software. Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
