The College of Arts & Science Job Description
The College of Arts and Science is hiring a Student Support Specialist I position to support advising and student services. This position will play an integral role in helping students and others who seek out information related to academic advising and enrollment as an undergraduate student in A&S. This is a great opportunity to work with a team that impacts students by providing accurate, helpful information to support how they navigate the College and University. This position also works with a group of advisors and student service professionals who are dedicated to student success. We're seeking an individual with strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and focused on service to students and the advising team. Key Responsibilities
What You'll Learn
Shift
The typical work week is Monday through Friday with working hours generally between 8 am and 5 pm with occasional evening and weekend events. Work hours may be flexible with supervisor approval. Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range

This position is located on the campus of the University of Missouri-Columbia with the option to work remotely for up to two days per week after training. Candidates must reside in the state of Missouri or be willing to relocate prior to start date. Benefit Eligibility
