Position Summary
The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with business partners and HR leaders in supporting the business on human resources-related issues. This position is responsible for the administration of human resource policies, procedures and programs.
Role Responsibilities
Serve as point of contact on HR inquiries related to policies, accommodations, and other HR policies or procedures Act as a resource for employees and management on complex employee relations issues. Perform investigations and recommend a course of action, as needed Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, compensation and disciplinary actions). Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local programs, as well as the company and business unit policies Maintain, update, and regularly audit employee data across HR systems to maintain accuracy and compliance Assist with annual people processes such as performance reviews, merit increases, engagement surveys, talent planning, etc. Assist in communications between employees and people managers, providing guidance and clarification of company policies and procedures Process new hire, termination, and general personnel updates in HR system Drive retention through engagement with a continuous focus on improving company culture Facilitate new hire orientation and conduct exit interviews
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Human Resources field Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Subject matter expertise in HR laws and compliance Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Service mindset; happy to answer any employee questions and always thinking of ways to make information more clear to employees Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills; able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
