Position Overview
The IT Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing technology solutions for the Perceptive Content ImageNow system that aligns with business needs and improve operational efficiency. This role involves gathering requirements, evaluating system performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize IT processes and solutions. The IT Analyst will work closely with various departments to identify technological needs, provide technical support, and recommend improvements to ensure that systems are efficient, secure, and scalable.

Job Description
25% - Requirements Gathering and Analysis
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for IT projects.
  • Identify areas where IT can improve business processes and propose effective technology solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the IT development and support teams.

25% - System Evaluation and Implementation
  • Assess and evaluate existing IT systems to ensure they meet business requirements and perform optimally.
  • Participate in the selection and implementation of new software and hardware solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and vendors to ensure seamless integration of new technology solutions.

25% - Troubleshooting and Support
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues in collaboration with the IT support team to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide technical support for software applications and systems, escalating issues as necessary to specialized teams.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on system outages and implement preventive measures.

10% - Documentation and Process Improvement
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, workflows, and support procedures.
  • Develop and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures for IT operations and system usage.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and improved workflows to enhance efficiency across IT functions

5% - Project Management and Coordination
  • Assist in managing IT projects, coordinating tasks, timelines, and resources with relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, provide status updates to stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Document and communicate project deliverables, milestones, and challenges.

5% - Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze system and usage data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate IT performance metrics and progress to management.
  • Recommend actionable insights and improvements based on data findings.

5% - Other Duties as Assigned.

Required Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma/GED and four years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree and two years of relevant professional experience or a Bachelor's degree.
  2. Two years of experience in IT analysis, business analysis, or a related field as evidenced by application materials.
  3. Strong analytical skills with experience to assess complex systems and processes, as evidenced by application materials.
  4. Two years of experience in data analysis, SQL, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.) as evidenced by application materials.
  5. Excellent written communication skills as evidenced by application materials.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, databases, and business applications as evidenced by application materials.
  2. Detail-oriented, with strong skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as evidenced by application materials.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve problems and deliver high quality results as evidenced by application materials.
