3D Printing Construction Technician, Miami

ICON is seeking a hands-on, reliable 3D Printing Construction Technician to join our Field Operations team. In this role, you'll help operate and maintain ICON's large-scale 3D printers to build a varieties of structures in the residential, commercial, and hospitality industries. These projects take place on active job sites across Miami-Dade and beyond, where you'll support the delivery of cutting-edge buildings using advanced robotic printing technology. This role will report to the Regional Leader of Field Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Load and manage raw materials, tools, and parts for daily print operations.
  • Operate 3D printers and related equipment (training provided).
  • Follow daily instructions from site leads to support print and build tasks.
  • Assist with basic repairs, equipment checks, and maintenance.
  • Perform quality checks and report issues as they arise.
  • Maintain clean, organized job sites and track materials.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 1+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or related field.
  • Comfortable using basic tools and diagnostic equipment (e.g. multimeter).
  • Mechanically inclined and eager to learn new systems.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Willing to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.



PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Experience with equipment repair, 3D printing, or CNC machines.
  • Familiarity with ticketing or inventory systems.
