Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The supervisor at Uglow Ave Clinic plays a key leadership role in ensuring smooth clinic operations by overseeing administrative functions, coordinating support staff, and aligning daily activities with strategic goals in collaboration with the Clinic Manager. This includes managing business operations, maintaining compliance, optimizing patient access and experience, and fostering a positive clinic culture. What you'll do

  • Oversees daily clinic operations including staffing, scheduling, billing, medical records, insurance verification, and supply management in coordination with the Clinic Manager.
  • Supports financial performance by assisting with budgeting, variance reporting, and operational decision-making using financial and utilization reports.
  • Supervises support staff by managing hiring, onboarding, training, payroll, performance evaluations, and staff engagement to maintain a healthy work environment.
  • Ensures regulatory and policy compliance through the implementation of clinic procedures, HIPAA standards, and preparation for accreditation or survey processes.
  • Leads patient experience initiatives by managing scheduling systems (e.g., Cadence), responding to complaints, and supporting service excellence efforts.
  • Coordinates health information management to ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality in line with Salem Health policies.
  • Collaborates across departments and with the community to support strategic initiatives and improve patient access and well-being.
Required qualifications
  • Associates Degree in a healthcare related field or 2 years of directly related experience may be substituted for an Associates Degree.
  • 2 years of directly related experience required.
  • 6 months in a supervisory capacity or similar role required.
