Job Description

We have an exciting opening for a 3rd Shift Team Coordinator in the SVS department, inviting you to join our diverse team in Easley, SC. The Team Coordinator assumes a leadership position within a designated work area, guiding Operators in their job responsibilities. This role encompasses monitoring performance metrics, documenting reasons for any discrepancies, and engaging in problem-solving initiatives. The Team Coordinator will actively lead and provide support across all facets of production.

Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities associated with this position encompass, but are not confined to, the following duties.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of the 8 types of Waste and 10 Lean Principles, and be able to articulate these concepts clearly.
Actively motivate and support employees throughout the day, ensuring that teams are well-informed about production expectations, scheduling, and any pertinent follow-up information as necessary.
Communicate staffing assignments and any gaps on a daily basis.
Collaborate with other Team Coordinators to adapt and train employees, aiming to minimize non-value-added hours in production.
Facilitate RCPS board meetings and diligently follow up on open JDI and the 4-Steps to effectively resolve issues and ensure timely closure.
Provide training for operators in work practices and standard procedures. Ensure that cross-training is implemented to foster workforce flexibility. Collaborate with full-time trainers to enhance the skill sets of the workforce.
Fill in for operators during their brief absences (lasting a few minutes or hours).

Completion of High School or GED is required. Proficiency in basic mathematics is essential.
Candidates must possess the skills and knowledge necessary to perform all tasks within the designated area.
Dependability and a positive attitude are crucial attributes.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are imperative.
Familiarity with computer software such as SAP and Microsoft Office is required.
Problem-solving skills are essential, utilizing a fact-based approach to resolving issues.
The ability to instruct co-workers in fundamental problem-solving tools is also necessary.
